FSBO Advertising Service, Inc. (herein referred to as FSBOAdvertising ™)
may be contacted in writing at P.O. Box 517, Bellaire, TX 77402 or by Email. We respect your
privacy and we do our best to see that all users of our websites respect other users
privacy also by way of complying with our Terms of Use which prohibit solicitation of the
advertisers for any purpose other than to purchase/rent their advertised property.
We NEVER publish our Advertisers Email address in the display of their advertisements at
our Sites in order to avoid it being harvested and sold to be placed on Spam list.
We offer an Email Privacy Feature where Advertisers can still receive direct internet
Email while at the same time keeping their email address completely private. We will
appreciate it if any user who finds another user violating our Terms of Use would notify
us about that event so that we may contact them about our Terms of Use which we do attempt
to monitor and enforce vigilantly.
This user information privacy policy applies to the use of the FSBOAdvertising
™ web sites which are specifically defined below (herein referred to as the or our
"Site" or "Sites") by users (which herein may be referred to either as
"you" or "user" or "users" or "Passive Users" or
"Registered Users" or "Advertisers") who for purposes of this policy
have been categorized into one or more of three User Group Categories (as defined
below). A specific user may fall into one or two or all three of those categories at
any given time or from time to time depending on how they choose to use our Sites and
which services they may choose to utilize over time. FSBOAdvertising ™
and its subsidiaries may be collectively referred to herein as "we",
"us", or "our".
We review this Privacy Policy from time to time and we welcome any comments or
suggestions you may have. We have no privacy seals or other assurance mechanisms aside
from our self administration of this policy statement. This statement is valid until
a revised policy is published at this page in our sole discretion.

User Group Categories
Users who simply browse the site to read about our services or to view the
advertisements of other users displayed at the Sites or third party companies/service
providers advertising their services at the Sites are referred to herein as "Passive
Users".
Users who register with us to specifically request that we provide them some
kind of service other than advertising their property for sale at our Sites (for example
those users who request notification of new advertisements placed here by other users) or
those users who register through us to specifically request the services of some third
party advertiser/service provider for whom we provide all or part of the service
request/order/payment processing services at our Sites are herein referred to as
"Registered Users".
Users who register with us for the specific purpose of advertising property for
sale by way of such advertisements being displayed at our Sites and/or also distributed
for display at other third-party website(s) and/or publications(s) are herein referred to
as "Advertisers".
Specific information pertaining to the types of information which we may
collect, the purposes for collection of that information, and the possible recipients of
that information along with information for the users ability in some cases of opting out
of certain uses or recipients of the information collected is provided on a By User Group
Category basis below after the general information sections.
Cookies Generally
A cookie is a small text file that is downloaded to a users computer when they
visit some pages of the Sites. These cookies themselves do not collect any information,
the cookies simply store some of the non-sensitive information (like by way of example the
URL which the user first came to one of our Sites from) which either you or your browser
had already given to us in connection with your use of the Sites. The cookies are
only readable by the Site which issued them so no one else can get that information from
the cookie and we do not share the information contained on them with anyone else but it
is conveniently available to us during the time you are using the Site (a Session Cookie)
to enable you to participate in our Sites interactive features or when you return for a
subsequent visit our Site can simply read that non-sensitive information from it (a
Persistent Cookie) without needing to collect it again. Personally Identifiable or
otherwise Sensitive Information is NOT stored in our cookies. The purposes of using

can visit and since you can administer your advertisement or registration at any of those
different Sites and as we indicated earlier a cookie can only be read by the specific site
which issued the cookie then it is convenient for us to use what is called a 3rd party
cookie (this is a cookie which is actually issued by one of our Sites but it is issue
while you are visiting another of our Sites so that is why it is called a 3rd party
cookie, for example if you visit our regional HoustonFSBO Site you will be also given a
cookie from our national FSBOAdvertising ™ site so that if you visit there that
information stored will be available at that site also and that FSBOAdvertising ™
site cookie will be referred to as a 3rd party cookie by your browser if you click on the
cookie details screen on your browser you will see that site name information). When
you are at one of our own Sites our computer can not read a cookie you may have on your
computer which was issued from another of our own Sites so that is why we need to issue
those 3rd party cookies.
Personally Identifiable Information Generally
Personally Identifiable Information is herein referred to as that information
which specifically identifies you or identifies where to find or contact you. This
Personally Identifiable Information is provided to us by Registered Users when you
register at our Sites to request some service either from us (like the notification of new
listing service for example) or when you register at our Sites to request some service
from a third-party service provider/advertiser at our Sites where we handle the
registration/ordering/payment process for said third-party (like the realtors flat fee mls
listing service for example). This Personally Identifiable Information is provided
to us by Advertisers when you register an ad for property for sale at our Sites. No
Personally Identifiable Information is requested from Passive Users and is none is
gathered other than the ordinary web logging information which occurs for all users.
FSBOAdvertising ™ does not sell, distribute, or release your individual
Personally Identifiable Information to other companies or vendors except as you have
authorized in the process of registering to request the service or registering to place
the advertisement (for example in the case of Advertisers the contents of the
advertisements themselves are specifically authorized by the Advertiser and intended to be
displayed to the public at our Sites along with the public display of whatever contact
information which the Advertiser choose to include in that display and also said
advertisements are authorized by the Advertiser and intended to be distributed by
FSBOAdvertising ™ to other third-party website(s) or publication(s) at the discretion
of the user for further additional display to the public at such third party website(s) or
publication(s) also similarly including the desired contact information selected by the
Advertiser to be published and in the case of Registered Users the Registered User
authorizes and intends that their Personally Identifiable Information be delivered by
FSBOAdvertising ™ to the third-party service provider who is the principal in that
transaction and who is actually providing the service which the Registered User
specifically requested).
Credit Card Account Number Information Generally
We accept credit card account number information in connection with Advertisers
purchasing our own products and services online or in the process of Registered Users
purchasing the products and services of some third party advertiser/service provider in
cases where we handle the ordering and/or payment processing on their behalf.
Processing of the credit card account number information as well as any purchase or
financial information is protected by Thawte
SSL encryption technology (a Verisign, Inc Company). Once processed, we do not retain any
record of your credit card account number information on our computers at all, it is only
recorded by our Credit Card Processor who is VeriSign, Inc (formerly CyberCash) who operates what is widely acclaimed
as the internets most highly secure firewall security system so that your information
remains as safe and secure as is possible with the most State of The Art security
Technology available. However, since even using the most reputable Secure Encryption
Technology companies available to process and store this sensitive information and the
latest state of the art technology available no data transmission over the Internet or the
storage of information on internet servers can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, we cannot
and do not guarantee or warrant its complete security.
Your credit card account information will not be distributed or disclosed
except to the principal of a transaction processed at our Sites unless we have your
express permission or unless we in good faith believe that the law requires it.
All Users Generally

Registered Users - Specific Information
Registered Users have access to and may edit or delete the contact and other
information they supplied to us during the registration for said services in regard to

ordered the services of a third-party advertiser/service provider through our Sites should
contact that service provider directly to edit or delete your information provided to them
in accordance with the terms of your separate service agreement(s) directly with them
and/or according to their organization policies which we do not administer ourselves since
we do not provide those third-party services ourselves and all we can do is forward your

third-party service provider we will be happy to assist you in resolving that to your

for the completion and support of the activity for which the data was provided and 2) for

our Sites for a service/product which is provided by a third-party service provider (like
the realtors mls listing services for example) the principal in that transaction is the
third-party service provider NOT FSBOAdvertising ™ and they are given the information
as you have authorized us to do by registering for/ordering that third party service and
their practices or policies may be different from ours.
The types of information which may be collected are as follows: 1)
Computer information - like IP number and browser type, and 2) navigation and click-stream
data - like pages are visited and how long users stay on each page, and 3) content - like
the text of email or bulletin board postings, or survey responses, and 4) state management
mechanisms - like automatically recognizing users who have visited before, and 5) unique
identifiers - like your order number or registration number, and 6) online contact
information - like your email address, and 7) financial information - like your answers to
a mortgage pre-qualification form questions in connection with our providing data
processing services for third-party mortgage service provider(s) which you may choose to
register with through our Sites, and 8) physical contact information - like your mailing
address or phone number which you may provide for some third-party service in connection
with registering for it through our Sites, and 9) purchase information - like your
ordering and credit card account information for some third party service you may order
through our Sites.
Advertisers - Specific Information
Advertisers have access to and may edit or delete the contact and other
information they supplied to us during the registration for said advertising. You
may also remove any items of contact information from public display or distribution to
any third-party website(s) or publications(s) either by editing that information at our
Sites or by way of deleting the advertisement from publication altogether at our Sites, in
which case it will also be promptly deleted from the said third-party web site(s) or

published at our Sites for the public to view as authorized by the Advertiser by way of
placing the order for the advertisement. Additionally, the advertisement may be
distributed to other third-party website(s) and/or publication(s) for additional public
display as well as also authorized by the Advertiser. The Advertisers may edit the content
of the information which is displayed to the public at our Sites and/or distributed to
those third-party web site(s) and/or publication(s) for public display and Advertisers may
opt in or out of this public display at our our Sites and/or the third-party web site(s)
and/or publication(s) by way of editing or deleting your advertisement, Click Here to Edit

Nothing herein is intended to supercede or modify in any way any provision of
our Sites published Terms of Use which are published at THIS LINK and
which every user must accept and agree to in order to view or use our Sites in any
way. The purpose of this Privacy Policy statement is to provide the detail
information provide herein and explain what kind information we collect, the different
capacities in which we collect it, what we may do with it, and how it is distributed,
released, or safeguarded. In the event any provision herein is found to be in
conflict with any provision of our Terms of Use it is explicitly stipulated and understood
to be intended that the provisions of the Terms of Use shall be and are controlling.
In the event the Terms of Use should in some imaginable or eventual real circumstance
render any provision herein inaccurate by way of being inconsistent with the Terms of Use
then FSBOAdvertising ™ reserves the right to correct such inconsistent provision
herein and as the sole remedy to that inconsistency undertake to use its best efforts to
destroy any information that had been collected by reason of said inconsistency upon
written request from any user affected by such circumstance unless we are required by any
law, regulation, or governmental authority to keep such information or it is the subject
